Dr Beicker presents his research at the Southern Orthopaedic Association annual meeting in Naples, FL
Dr Beicker was honored to present research concerning treatment of Anterior Cruciate Ligament injuries to the members of the Southern Orthopaedic Association. The Anterior Cruciate Ligament (Or ACL) is a ligament in the knee that is "crucial" for sporting activity that requires running, turning and pivoting. Patients who tear their ACL can experience instability with activity which leads to the inability to participate in sports. Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction can help return the athlete to previous function and help him/her get "back in the game."
